    Meet LEANNE GILL,
    our Centre Director

    I have been the centre director since the service opened it’s doors in late 2015. I have been part of the Little Zak’s family for close to 16 years and I hold a Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood Education). Here at Jordan Springs, we pride ourselves on inclusive learning environments that also allow children to feel safe, secure and reach their full potential. What has kept me here for so many years is the community and the wonderful children, families and educators who have been part of our Little Zak’s family. Most importantly it is very rewarding.

      Start Strong for Long Day Care 2024

      Start Strong Preschool 2024

      Little Zak’s Jordan Springs preschool program is a recipient of funding under the NSW Department of Education’s ‘Start Strong for Long Day Care 2024’ Program.

      • Fee relief of up to $2110 per child for children aged 4 and above, and up to $500 per year in fee relief for children aged 3.
        • To be eligible for 4YO+ Program Payment and 4YO+ Fee Relief Payment funding under Start Strong, a child will need to be the age of 4 years old on, or before, 31 July 2024 (the child’s birthdate must be on, or before, 31 July 2020)
        • To be eligible for 3YO Program Trial Payment and 3YO Fee Relief Trial Payment funding under Start Strong, a child will need to be the age of 3 years old and not yet 4 years old on, or before 31 July in 2024 (the child’s birthdate must be on, or between, 1 August 2020 to 31 July 2021)
      • Families are required to fill the ‘Families Declaration Form’ to receive the relief. (Available at the service)
      • Relief is calculated weekly based on the number of weeks the service is open.
      • Families that do not receive CCS are eligible for the program.

      Two of my children currently attend Little Zak’s. The staff there are very welcoming and friendly. The centre itself is clean and has a great atmosphere. Both of my children love their teachers and love the centre. We had a very easy transition into attending childcare and Leanne and the other staff members have been wonderful. I love that the educators listen when I have input, I love that their meals are healthy, varied, prepared on site by their chef and most of, that my child eats everything offered! I love that LZs caters to our diverse community and strives to enhance the children’s learning opportunities.

      My daughter has been attending little zaks since she was about a year old. The staff and carers have been so reassuring from the very beginning and she is now 3 and LOVES going! She really looks forward to seeing her little friends and her educators. She always has something new to tell me every day about what they learnt, and I truly believe that little zaks has significantly contributed to her confidence and outgoing nature. Aside from this – little zaks respects our dietary requirements which was a very huge deal for me because we switched her over from a different daycare that did not. The best thing I did for her was choose little zaks, as I will for my future babies.
