Today our Explorers engaged in a cooking experienc

Today our Explorers engaged in a cooking experience with Miss Sarah. The children were encouraged to decorate their own Easter biscuits. Miss Sarah assisted the children with applying the icing to the biscuit before encouraging them to attempt this for themselves. Miss Sarah then filled their hand with sprinkles and encouraged the group to place them on top of the biscuit before they enjoyed their cooking creations.

Today 11 of our Pre-School children were invited to The Oaks Public School.
Miss Jess, Miss Lauren, Miss Courtney and Chadi accompanied the children to the parade to show off their creativity. It was a very successful day, the children were amazing.
We look forward to more excursions and thank you The Oaks Public School for inviting us.

Today the Explorers participated in a multi-sensory, hands-on learning experience through creating cloud dough. During our French lesson this morning with Miss Ingrid the children learnt all about recycling and keeping our waters/ocean clean/safe.

Each child had a turn at picking something from the box and he/she had to decide where to put it:

Red bin ....we said “poubelle* rouge!”

Yellow bin....we said “poubelle jaune”

* la poubelle = garbage bin
