    Start Strong for Long Day Care 2024

    Start Strong Preschool 2024

    Little Zak’s Burwood Heights preschool program is a recipient of funding under the NSW Department of Education’s ‘Start Strong for Long Day Care 2024’ Program.

    • Fee relief of up to $2110 per child for children aged 4 and above, and up to $500 per year in fee relief for children aged 3.
      • To be eligible for 4YO+ Program Payment and 4YO+ Fee Relief Payment funding under Start Strong, a child will need to be the age of 4 years old on, or before, 31 July 2024 (the child’s birthdate must be on, or before, 31 July 2020)
      • To be eligible for 3YO Program Trial Payment and 3YO Fee Relief Trial Payment funding under Start Strong, a child will need to be the age of 3 years old and not yet 4 years old on, or before 31 July in 2024 (the child’s birthdate must be on, or between, 1 August 2020 to 31 July 2021)
    • Families are required to fill the ‘Families Declaration Form’ to receive the relief. (Available at the service)
    • Relief is calculated weekly based on the number of weeks the service is open.
    • Families that do not receive CCS are eligible for the program.

    Prior to enrolling my daughter into little Zaks Burwood Heights I went to 4 other childcares to do tours. To say I’m a little controlling would be and understatement, so the standards were just not what I was expecting. I enrolled my daughter well before the Burwood Heights facility opened and can honestly say it was well worth the wait. The staff are so welcoming, friendly and so kind, and the facility is truly amazing. I thought I would have a lot of concerns leaving my 14 month old at drop off, but she has adjusted so well and can say its because of how lovely all the staff are. We get daily updates on what she has done for the day with photos and it really does make the day a lot easier to get through knowing she is well looked after and happy. I cannot recommend enough, you’d be lucky if you could send your child here.
