Start Strong for Long Day Care 2025

Little Zak’s preschool program is a recipient of funding under the NSW Department of Education’s ‘Start Strong for Long Day Care 2025’ Program.

Fee relief of up to $2174 per child for children aged 4 and above, and up to $515 per year in fee relief for children aged 3.
To be eligible for 4YO+ Program Payment and 4YO+ Fee Relief Payment funding under Start Strong, a child will need to be the age of 4 years old on, or before, 31 July 2025 (the child’s birthdate must be on, or before, 31 July 2021)

To be eligible for 3YO Program Trial Payment and 3YO Fee Relief Trial Payment funding under Start Strong, a child will need to be the age of 3 years old and not yet 4 years old on, or before, 31 July in 2025 (the child’s birthdate must be on, or between, 1 August 2020 to 31 July 2022)
Families are required to fill out the ‘Families Declaration Form’ to receive the relief. (Available at the service)

Relief is calculated weekly based on the number of weeks the service is open.
Families that do not receive CCS are eligible for the program.

Both my sons (2 and 4 year old) have attended Little Zak’s Rozelle since it first opened. Between the two of them, they have been in every class and know all the educators. Everyone has been very friendly and caring towards our boys. They are able to experience a variety of activities from soccer and French lessons (by external coaches/teacher) as well as yoga and baking. They teach the kids about caring for the environment, sustainability and aboriginal culture so very well rounded. The facilities are also new and modern. From an administrative perspective, they have also been very responsive to any questions I have raised especially during a difficult 2 years with the pandemic. I would highly recommend LZ Rozelle!

Little Zaks Academy in Rozelle is a great childcare centre. Its a brand-new centre which has a modern, large outdoor playground. My son started here at 2yrs old, being his first childcare experience; I was very happy after only two days of attendance, he didn’t cry and was happy and excited to attend, that gave me great confidence and comfort in knowing I had made the right choice sending him to Little Zaks !! Our daughter has been super happy since starting at Little Zaks in Rozelle. All the staff have been professional and friendly and very caring towards our daughter.
