I have loved my experience working with Little Zaks Academy Epping for the past 6 years. Throughout this time, I have had the opportunity to work with many educators, children and families and their diverse ideas and perspectives have taught me so much. I have had many fun, interesting and challenging experiences as Pre School Room Leader and 2IC, that which I can now draw upon in my role as Centre Director.

What has personally been very meaningful to me is having the opportunity to become Centre Director of Little Zaks Academy Epping, a Centre I hold very close to my heart. Little Zak’s Academy has a great leadership program in place to support educators in their individual professional development and provide opportunities to adapt and learn the skills required to step up into leadership and management roles within the company.

I love that Little Zaks Academy is a family owned business and at the heart of it all we are a family of educators who are passionate about the care and education of young children in our community.

I started with Little Zak’s Academy as a floater and worked at many of the Little Zaks Centres over that time. I met so many nice people and I have made many friendships with educators who have been so kind and supportive of me. Across the centres, I have enjoyed working with nice children and families. Throughout my time in each centre, I have learned so much.

I love being part of the Little Zak’s Epping team as a full time educator in our 3-5 years room, as I have built relationships with nice, friendly and kind people. I have enjoyed the challenge of working with many different children and families and adapting the educational program to individual children’s needs and interests. The team at Little Zak’s Epping are supportive and fun to be with. I love working with my Little Zaks family.

The support and guidance I have received since starting my career with little Zak’s Academy in 2017 has been phenomenal. I started as a room leader and with the belief and encouragement of my team and management I am now the Centre Director. I am forever grateful to the amazing team I have been working alongside over these last few years, the supportive management team and of course the beautiful children and families that have come through our doors and taught me so much about myself and how important our role in their children’s lives are. We really are a little family here and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

The knowledge and experience I have gained since starting with Little Zaks in 2018 has allowed me to progress from a room leader role into a management role and I am so grateful for the opportunities that I have been given.
